Bugzilla – Bug 7103
myproxy-logon w/ credentials can fail when it would succeed w/o credentials
Last modified: 2011-02-28 09:07:10
You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
It's possible for myproxy-logon's existing credentials to be unacceptable to the myproxy-server (because they're from an untrusted CA, for example) while the myproxy-server would be willing to accept the myproxy-logon request from an anonymous client without credentials. MyProxy should automatically fall back to anonymous client authentication when the existing client credentials aren't accepted. This was originally tracked at: http://bugzilla.ncsa.uiuc.edu/show_bug.cgi?id=358
Committed to CVS: http://lists.globus.org/pipermail/myproxy-commit/2010-October/000479.html Will appear in MyProxy v5.3.
MyProxy v5.3 released 17 Jan 2011.
