Description:

libpng is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by an error in the png_decompress_chunk() function. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted PNG file containing highly compressed ancillary chunks, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the affected application to hang.
