CCE is a Chinese Console Environment for Linux and FreeBSD. I may port it to SCO Unix and Solaris X86, if I have enough time. :-)

Some new fixes for gcc 2.95.x included in this new
cce-0.36-05052000.tar.gz. It included
some modifications for new FreeBSD 4.0 mmap restrictions, too. diff file
between 101199 and 05052000 is here 11/06/99 I decided to re-write
the whole cce to abandon some ugly kon codes. The original author
of CCE is raner. I am doing some bug fixes
and improvements now. The newest version
of CCE is 0.36-101199. For new bug fixes, please look at
README.bugfix, which is included in the downloadable file below. 10/12/1999 News: Change the video display initialization strategy to
avoid confusion in some video adapters. NOTE: The modification is for Linux
only. FreeBSD support will be added soon.
