Description:

mpg123 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the find_next_file function in the 'playlist.c' file. By sending a specially-crafted MP3 playlist, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the user, once the playlist is processed.
