Tenable Solutions
Scalability
Tenable Network Security's vulnerability management solutions may be scaled to fit any enterprise, large or small. A single Tenable SecurityCenter can manage up to 512 Tenable Nessus vulnerability scanners. This allows for placement of scanners within your architecture to fit any type of network topology, behind any slow-bandwidth links and behind firewalls.
Tenable SecurityCenter organizes scanners into zones that can be dedicated to specific organizations, geographical regions or even internal and external resources. Tenable works with many customers who host external Nessus scanners to perform perimeter PCI and web application tests.
Tenable SecurityCenter organizes vulnerability and configuration data into repositories. A repository can be used to store all of your scan results; however, creating separate ones for external scans, credentialed scans, PCI audits, FDCC testing and so on makes it easier to share the data securely and organize it.

If you have a large organization that requires hundreds of scanners, multiple Tenable SecurityCenters can also be deployed. Tiered SecurityCenter deployments can synchronize scan data for centralized reporting. Any instance of Tenable SecurityCenter can log into another one to obtain a copy of any repository. This allows organizations to create many different types of arrangements to share vulnerability data across organizations, to executive management and with auditors.
