FDCC

Tenable Network Security is a certified Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) solution provider. This allows our products to perform certified configuration audits of Windows XP and Windows Vista desktop systems.

We offer two forms of FDCC audit policies:

• Tenable Nessus ProfessionalFeed subscribers can download configuration audit policies that enable testing of the NIST SCAP configuration settings required by OMB.
• Tenable SecurityCenter users can perform automated FDCC scans of thousands of desktops, analyze the results to determine any compliance issues, and submit SCAP status reports to OMB.

Tenable SecurityCenter is ideal for agentless audits and is very scalable. Tenable has worked with several federal customers that leverage multiple Tenable Nessus scanners to perform distributed audits of more than 10,000 desktops in a single scan. Additionally, Tenable's solutions use OVAL and XCCDF content to perform system configuration auditing.
