Commercial organizations that use the Nessus vulnerability scanner must purchase a Nessus ProfessionalFeed subscription to scan their network (unlimited IP addresses allowed), obtain support, receive updates to their database of vulnerability checks, and perform compliance auditing. Each ProfessionalFeed subscription costs $1,200 per year, per Nessus scanner and may be purchased from Tenable's ProfessionalFeed Partners or directly from Tenable's online store.

Nessus Perimeter Service

The Tenable Nessus Perimeter Service an enterprise-class remote vulnerability scanning service that may be used to audit Internet-facing IP addresses for both network and web application vulnerabilities "from the cloud." Subscribers log into Nessus scanners hosted in Tenable's secure datacenter and have the ability to scan a wide variety of devices. The Nessus Perimeter Service costs $3,600 per year, per scanner and may be purchased directly from Tenable's online store.

Enterprise Management

When Nessus is managed with Tenable SecurityCenter, an enterprise can perform full lifecycle vulnerability and configuration management. Organizations can communicate recommendations to the responsible parties, track remediations, and verify security patches and required configurations.
